The Candela GentleLASE laser is our hair removal laser. It is rated for permanent hair reduction by the FDA. It is fifty percent faster than older model lasers, and it is equipped with a special cooling device to make the treatment more comfortable.

The ideal candidate for hair removal is a black or brown haired person with lighter skin. The laser does not work on blonde, gray, or red hair. Hair growth is divided into three stages. In order for the laser to be effective, hair must be in the first stage of growth. This is why it takes multiple treatments to accomplish permanent hair reduction.

The GentleLASE is also effective in removing age spots, freckles, and birthmarks. The newest use for this laser is facial rejuvenation which uses multiple modalities to improve texture and tone, while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

vbeamOur second laser is the Candela Vbeam vascular laser. It is the gold standard laser for treating blood vessel lesions, having been used in some form in the United States since the 1980s. This laser removes spider veins, cherry angiomas, and birthmarks. Rosacea and nasal and facial veins are effectively treated with the Vbeam. This laser also participates in our facial rejuvenation packages.
