What kind of results will I see?
The percentage of hairs removed with each session varies in different body areas of thinner and thicker skin. Because the laser reads and destroys hairs that are dark in pigment and in the active growth phase, the client will see approximately 10 to 25 percent reduction in their hair growth with each treatment. How long will my treatments take?
Most every area can be done in an hour or less! Treatments for an upper lip, chin, back of neck, feet, and toes all take around 15 minutes to treat, but both legs and a full back can take 30 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the surface area. You can have your laser treatment done and still be back at work within your scheduled lunch hour.
Does it hurt?
The lasers used by Le Gomme have an integrated cooling device that allow for comfortable treatment for all surface areas. The laser pulses feel like the popping of a rubber band against the skin.
How many treatments do I need?
Each client is different in skin type, hair density and color, and their expected results; therefore we suggest approximately five to eight treatments with a possible maintenance treatment once or twice a year at each surface area to achieve permanent hair reduction. Treatments will be scheduled every four to eight weeks depending on the surface area.
Will this work for me?
Le Gomme’s laser can be used safely on all skin types, light or dark! Darker hair tends to respond best to the laser, whereas lighter hair (white, blonde, gray, or red) tends to be less responsive.
